Day 01 :
Arrival in Mumbai and Journey to Rajkot
- Once you reach Mumbai, our travel representatives will greet you with a warm welcome.
- Now, it’s time to catch the overnight train to Rajkot, Gujarat. You’ll get full assistance in boarding from our side.
- Enjoy an overnight stay on the train. We recommend packing some light snacks and water for this train journey.
Day 02 :
Trip to Dwarkadhish and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga
- By early morning, you’ll arrive in Rajkot.
- Deboard the train, and now you’ll be driven to Dwarka. This holy city is one of the Char Dhams and also a Sapta Puri.
- Now, check into your pre-booked hotel and freshen up!
- Later, you’ll be taken to the Dwarkadhish Temple first. It is dedicated to Lord Krishna, where he’s worshipped in his royal form as the King of Dwarka!
- Next, you’ll be driven to the very first Jyotirlinga of this tour, that is, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga. Lord Shiva is worshipped here as the protector against poison.
- After your Darshan and Poojan, return to your hotel for dinner in the evening.
- Get a restful night of sleep at your hotel.
Day 03 :
Somnath Jyotirlinga Darshan
- Have breakfast and then check out of your hotel.
- Now, you’ll be transferred to Somnath near Veraval. Once you arrive in this city, check into your hotel and take rest for a while.
- Afterwards, you'll be taken to Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple, a shrine that enjoys a glorious history. According to the Hindu mythology, it’s believed that the temple was originally built by Chandra Dev in order to please Lord Shiva. Over centuries, this temple has been destroyed and rebuilt 17 times, and now stands as a metaphorical symbol of faith and resilience!
- Also, attend the evening Aarti at the temple.
- Then, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04 :
Somnath to Ujjain transfer (Overnight Train Journey)
- Wake up early and attend the morning Aarti at Somnath temple.
- Now, check out of your hotel and head to the railway station and catch a train to Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh.
- This will be an overnight journey by train. We recommend carrying a light shawl or blanket with you as the nights can get a little chilly.
Day 05 :
Arrival in Ujjain and Visit to Omkareshwar Temple
- You’ll arrive in Ujjain early in the morning. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take a little rest for a while.
- Now, you’ll be taken to the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, which is situated on an island surrounded by the Narmada River. There’s another specialty of this island, which is that it is shaped like an ‘OM’ symbol. You can also choose to circumambulate the island, as many devotees do.
- Afterwards, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 06 :
Ujjain (Mahakaleshwar Darshan) and Train to Haridwar
- Get up early in the morning and proceed for the Darshan and Poojan at the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. This is one of the most revered shrines of Lord Shiv, where he’s worshiped as the destroyer of time itself.
- If you reach there early, you can also witness the Bhasma Aarti, which takes place from 4 AM to 6 AM. In this sacred ritual, Lord Shiva is offered the sacred ash.
- Later, enjoy a trip to the popular temples like Harsiddhi Mata Temple and Kal Bhairav Temple. Both of these temples have a strong background in the rich Tantric traditions of India.
- In the evening, you’ll be driven to the railway station, where you’ll board the train to Haridwar.
- Enjoy an overnight stay on the train.
Day 07 :
Arrival in Haridwar (Ganga Aarti Experience)
- You’ll reach Haridwar in the morning. From the railway station, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you can check in. Take some time to relax and freshen up. The rest of the day is free!
- In the evening, drop by the Har ki Pauri and witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Watch as the thousands of Diyas float by on the Ganga River.
- Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 08 :
Transfer to Guptkashi and Visit to Ardhanarishvara Temple
- Have breakfast in the morning.
- Now, begin a scenic drive towards Guptkashi. Once you get there, check into your pre-booked hotel.
- Now, you’ll be taken to the Ardhanarishvara Temple. This temple holds a great deal of significance as it symbolizes Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati’s unity.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay
Day 09 :
Trek to Kedarnath Temple
- In the morning, we’ll depart from Sonprayag to start the trek to the Kedarnath temple.
- Begin your 16 km trek via Gaurikund. You can also hire a pony/Palki service to reach the Kedarnath Dham.
- Once you reach the temple, engage in the Darshan and Poojan ritual. The views all around are gorgeous, providing you with a backdrop of snow-capped peaks.
- Wait till the sun goes down, when you can attend the evening Aarti, which is a soul-stirring experience, to say the least.
- Your dinner and overnight stay will be arranged in Kedarnath only.
Day 10 :
Morning Aarti at Kedarnath and Transfer to Rudraprayag
- Wake up early before sunrise and attend the morning Aarti at Kedarnath temple.
- Now trek back to Sonprayag. From there, you’ll be taken to Rudraprayag.
- Check into your hotel there and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 11 :
Overnight Train to Varanasi
- Have a hearty breakfast.
- Now, you’ll be driven back to Haridwar.
- Once you reach there, board the overnight train for Varanasi. Your lunch and dinner will be served on the train itself.
Day 12 :
Evening Ganga Aarti at Varanasi
- Welcome to Varanasi! This is one of the world’s oldest cities, and is quite dear to Lord Shiva.
- Now check into your hotel and rest for a while.
- Visit the Dasaswamedh Ghat in the evening, where you can witness the grand Ganga Aarti live. Take in the whole experience of chants, bells, and floating lamps!
- Come back to your hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 13 :
Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga and Transfer to Deoghar
- Wake up early to go for a morning Darshan at the Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga. Perform Poojan to your heart’s content.
- Next, we’ll take you to the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple.
- After that, board a train to Jasidih. Once you get there, you’ll take a short drive towards Deoghar, Jharkhand.
- Enjoy an overnight stay in your hotel at Deoghar.
Day 14 :
Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlinga and Train to Chennai
- Wake up early in the morning and get ready for Darshan at the Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlinga. This temple is special since here Lord Shiva is worshipped as a healer (Vaidya).
- Perform your Abhishek Puja & Darshan and soak in the calming atmosphere of the shrine. It is believed that Ravana himself worshipped Lord Shiva here by offering his heads as a sacrifice.
- Next, board a train to Kolkata from here. Once you reach Howrah station, take a connecting train to Chennai.
- Enjoy an overnight stay on the train.
Day 15 :
Arrival in Chennai and Train to Rameswaram
- You’ll arrive in Chennai in the morning.
- Take some time to freshen up and relax in the station waiting room.
- Later, board the train to Rameswaram, one of the most holy pilgrimage towns in India!
- Enjoy an overnight stay on the train.
Day 16 :
Arrival at Rameswaram (Leisure Day)
- Once you reach Rameswaram, get to your hotel and check in.
- The rest of the day is purposefully made free of any sightseeing. You can take this leisure time to rest or travel on your own around the area. If you go out, do indulge in the local Tamil vegetarian cuisine, which is simply delicious.
- At night, enjoy dinner and get a restful night of sleep.
Day 17 :
Rameswaram Darshan and Drive to Madurai
- We’ll visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple early in the morning. This temple houses the very Rameshwaram Jyotirlinga that Lord Rama worshipped after he went to war with Ravana.
- Afterwards, you’ll be taken for a drive to Madurai.
- In the evening, visit the majestic Meenakshi Amman Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. Enjoy the masterpiece of Dravidian architecture that this temple is!
- Spend the night in your Madurai hotel.
Day 18 :
Train to Pune
- Treat yourself to a delicious breakfast.
- Now, you’ll be transferred to Madurai railway station, where you can board the train to Pune.
- Enjoy an overnight journey on the train.
Day 19 :
Arrival at Pune (Leisure Day)
- Once you arrive in Pune, check into your hotel.
- The rest of the day is free. You can utilize it by either resting or going sightseeing/shopping on your own.
- Enjoy the overnight stay at your hotel in Pune.
Day 20 :
Visit to Bhimashankar and Trimbakeshwar
- Have breakfast and then get ready for the Jyotirlinga tour.
- Today, you’ll be taken to the Bhimashankar Temple, which is located in the lush Sahyadri Hills. It's also considered to be the source of the river Bhima.
- In the latter part of the day, we’ll visit yet another Jyotirlinga, that is Trimbakeshwar Temple, which is located in Nashik.
- At night, return to the hotel and get a restful night of sleep.
Day 21 :
Trimbakeshwar Darshan, Nashik Sightseeing, and Trip to Shirdi
- In the morning, set out again for the Darshan at the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga.
- Afterwards, you’ll indulge in a sightseeing tour of Nashik, where you’ll be visiting:
- Sita Gufa (This is where Sita stayed during exile)
- Kapileshwar Temple
- Kala Ram Temple
- Panchavati and Godavari River
- Later in the day, drive towards Shirdi and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 22 :
Shirdi Sai Baba Darshan
- Enjoy lunch and some free time for shopping at the local market for Sai Baba souvenirs.
- Return to your hotel for overnight stay
Day 23 :
Transfer to Aurangabad
- After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed towards Aurangabad.
- Check into your Aurangabad hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening. Overnight stay at Aurangabad.
Day 24 :
Ajanta-Ellora Caves Sightseeing
- After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Ajanta and Ellora Caves. Ajanta caves are famous for their ancient Buddhist rock-cut architecture and murals.
- Ellora caves are known for their Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain rock-cut temples, representing India’s religious harmony.
- Return to Aurangabad hotel in the evening and enjoy dinner and overnight stay.
