Mesmerising Meghalaya

Welcome to Guwahati! Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, get transferred to Shillong. En route, visit Umiam Lake for a peaceful retreat. After spending some time at the lake, continue your journey to Shillong, and upon arrival, check in at the hotel. You can visit Phan Nonglait Park, known for its lush greenery, serene ambiance, and beautiful walking trails. You can also head to Spread Eagle Falls, a stunning waterfall famous for its eagle-shaped split in the rock.

Post check out, get driven to Cherrapunji. En route, make a stop at the Elephant Falls, a three-tiered waterfall renowned for its striking beauty. Upon arrival, explore Seven Sisters Waterfall, known for its seven distinct streams cascading down the cliffside, and the towering NohKaLikai Falls, the tallest in India, offering a breathtaking view. Visit the Mawsmai and Arwah Caves, famous for their unique limestone formations. After the tour, check into your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

In the morning, you will be driven to Tyrna Village from the hotel for an exciting Nongriat Trek. Along the journey, enjoy the vibrant landscapes of Meghalaya. After reaching Tyrna Village, you will ascend 3,500 steps to Nongriat and visit the awe-inspiring Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Afterwards, you can also extend your hike to the Rainbow Falls at an extra cost. Later, get driven back from Tyrna village to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After checking out of the hotel, get driven to Dawki with a stop at Mawlynnong, famed as the ‘Cleanest Village of Asia.’ Trek to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village, and take time to marvel at the exciting Balancing Rock. After your trek, continue toward Dawki. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, and later, you can explore the town at your own pace, visiting the pristine Umngot River, known as one of the cleanest rivers in India.

Check out and board your transfer to the Shnongpdeng Village, where you can indulge in adventure activities (extra cost) like kayaking, and boating. After this, continue your journey to Shillong. En route, visit the beautiful Krang Shuri Waterfalls, set amidst lush forests. Also, enjoy a hike on the stunning trails of Laitlum Canyon, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Upon your arrival at the hotel in Shillong, check in for an overnight stay and rest for the night.

In the morning, check out of the hotel and board your transfer to Guwahati. Upon arrival, visit the Kamakhya Devi Temple, one of the oldest and most revered centers of Tantric practices, dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya. After the visit, continue your journey to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your departure. This is where your trip comes to an end.
